Choose Aged Brass for the warm depth it adds. Aged Brass is perfect if you have a period property and it looks wonderful with strong, dark paint colours.
Manufactured from solid, unlacquered Brass, our Aged Brass products undergo an accelerated ageing process before surface areas are repolished, creating a striking contrast between the darker patina left around the edges and recesses, and brighter surface areas. As an unlacquered, ‘living’ finish Aged Brass will continue to oxidise, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes too dark or tarnished, it can be polished to restore the brighter finish on surface areas.
Polished Brass is classic and timeless. Unlaquered brass will age naturally through oxidisation or if desired occasional polishing with a clean soft cloth will retain its high sheen. Perfect for pairing with bold, dark colours, maybe a dark red, deep green or strong grey.
Satin Brass is sophisticated and contemporary and oozes luxury. We like satin brass best when paired with lighter shades such as pastel blue, pale pinks and greys. It’s a finish that also works well with materials such as quartz and marble
Forged from solid brass, the beautiful dark patina of burnished brass is a result of an accelerated aging process.
The warm undertones of Burnished Brass perfectly pair with earthy shades such as browns, greens and greys. The combining of stone and wood, particularly the dark tones of walnut, make a perfect pairing.
